Any suggestions for attorney’s that do double closings in NC? That do the A to B and B to C. I use ICS for normal closings but they will only do the A to B and prepare seller docs for a double close. They prefer C to have their own attorney to close with.
You will likely want to use a local attorney to the parcel you are buying. When you call the attorney ask if they allow single source funding. That is when the money from C pays for both the closing A to B and B to C. Or use flash cash to accomplish the A to B closing if they won’t allow single source funding. Last choice use funds from your HELOC or a private lender to accomplish the A to B closing.
I plan on using flash cash. My normal guy doesn’t do it. I would prefer him, but he won’t do it. It took a couple days, but two firms got back to me today and said they do. I don’t plan on doing single source funding, but I think both firms do. Thanks for responding.
