How often do you all mail to a particular area? We sent out a mailer in early January which led to 3 deals. When do you suggest we hit that area again? Also, is it the same letter or do we change it up? As always, I appreciate your expertise and help!
Nice! I don’t resend to my lists as often as I should, usually once every 12-18 months. If I had my act together, I would have a couple of variations on my letter and I’d send them every 6 months or so. Is that right? I don’t know. But it seems like a good rhythm to me.
It’s a good question. I would love to hear what other people are doing for follow up on their direct mail. Like, how often to re-mail and what to say differently in the 2nd and 3rd go-around.
We used to mail every 3-6 mos the counties that were producing and had kind of gotten out of the habit. Was thinking about doing it again. @dmlew24 how many pcs of mail did you send for 3 deals? Congrats!!
Hi @AmyB! Thanks for your insight. I’m thinking about another round of mailers in June but we may send a bit sooner. I hope a few others will share their best practices.
We got super lucky and found a spot with a fair amount of sold comps that hasn’t been hit much by investors. That area received 2,700 letters and yielded four deals so far.

We hit the same list several times. It’s more about hitting their inbox at the right time rather than anything else
