I could see this being super useful for small double close deals that you want to list on Brokerless or something like that because they are risky or you are unsure about demand for that particular lot or the area in general. Something where you do a really small EMD, put in very little effort, and basically test the market. If it sells great, if not, no sweat because you have almost no money in the deal.
