Can anyone give me any guidance on how much water meters being on a property already can increase value? I have about a 7 acre prop lead and the guy said hes had about 10 water meters installed. I know that makes the prop more valuable just not sure by how much.
@tubbs1286 you’d have to understand what the highest and best use is. If it’s something that requires a water meter, then I guess it wouldn’t hurt, but you’d want to be pretty certain that your future buyer does indeed want to use it for this purpose.
If it were me, I might do some research to make sure it’s possible to install whatever is needed for the next owner, but I probably wouldn’t actually install the stuff myself.
