Launch Control Blocked?

For our LLC address were using a 3rd party service in which they give you a “suite number” for your own mailing purposes, while all else is the same for the rest of the companies using their service.

Just had a call from Launch Control ( our 10 DLC approval came through 6 days ago ) and were told our account is being placed on hold because “our address” is associated with scamming. I went on to explain were not the only company using that address and the whole Suite # thing and their solution was to get a new EIN and a different address. Besides, we have never texted before…

While I can understand maybe some other company using the same mailing address had an issue, I just cant see why would that mean we need to change our EIN as well, doesn’t make sense to me.

Few months ago, we created an Open Phone account, did around 10 test Texts ( mainly to numbers belonging to us ) and had the account closed, they didnt give any explanation.

Now im thinking it might all be related and looking to change address, but EIN??

Anybody ran into a similar situation?

Oh man, that is terrible. I’m sorry to hear about that.

I’m not sure if it would help for this particular situation, but there’s a guy named Tony Durante (maybe you’ve heard of him) who specializes in helping people outside the US deal with these kinds of odd issues that arise from being in another country.

My friend @Arturo has worked with him quite a bit, and Tony can resolve many issues like this. If you need a physical presence in the US, there’s at least a halfway decent chance he can make it work for you. Even if you don’t need him for this specific issue, he can probably be useful to you at some point in the future since you’re working outside the US.
