PSA: Postage Rate Increase Coming on August 29

Public Service Announcement: In case you weren’t aware, the USPS is doing another postage rate increase at the end of August (8/29), and it’s a pretty big one. Source: https://blog.stamps.com/2021/06/04/usps-to-implement-second-postage-rate-increase-in-2021/

The price of standard first-class stamps is going from .55 to .58 cents. For bulk mailers, the standard bulk rate letter postage price should not exceed .33 cents, but this is still a big jump from where it is right now (.304 cents).

This basically equates to an extra $30 per thousand mail units. Not a massive change to the economics of how we find deals, but obviously, it’s a bit of a bummer.

If you’ve got any big campaigns planned, get them out before the end of the month and save yourself a few bucks!

Thanks Seth.
