In one of Seth’s YouTube episodes about his self-storage project he had his cameras housed in an outdoor cabinet that I think was heated and cooled. I need one of these for the camera system I am installing at one of my storage facilities and wondered if anyone had a model number or source for one the cabinets? Also, would anyone be able to message me the contact info for the installer Seth used?
Hey @Doug1! Thanks for asking. Here’s a link to the one I use at my facility:
It’s not heated, but it is cooled with four fans in the ceiling of it. Usually, overheating is a bigger issue than getting too cold. To date, we haven’t had any electronic failures, and we’ve been through 2.5 years, with all seasons thoroughly testing it.
