Wife not on Deed (Arizona)

Hey Tipsters,

I am buying a parcel in Arizona where the husband who was unmarried at time of title is now married.
I called the title company and they said because he was unmarried at time of transfer, the wife does not have to sign the deed. They would reference on the deed that he was unmarried when he was titled the land but stopped short of telling me the exact verbiage.
Does any one have an example of how this is laid out on a deed, or how you go about this?

@greg-morris you could just have the wife sign anyway, just to cover your bases. If that’s too much work for them, then it’s probably not the best way to go, but it may be an option to consider nonetheless.
